Priests Congregate in Video for Their New Track “Jesus’ Son”
Image courtesy of the artistRock trio Priests have released the experiential video for their new song titled “Jesus’ Son,” taken from their forthcoming album The Seduction of Kansas.
Katie Alice Greer, G.L. Jaguar and Daniele Daniele said of their cryptic new single in a statement:
We are of course nodding to Lou Reed’s declaration that he felt ‘just like Jesus’ Son’ way back when, a statement that launched a thousand others who perhaps too have felt like the son of god at one point or another. Many inquiring minds have already said they’d like to know who the song is about, it is certainly an apocalyptic sci-fi tale of epic proportions … perhaps it is about more than just a person? We hope you enjoy it.
“Jesus’ Son” is the third single from Priests’s forthcoming album, following title track “The Seduction of Kansas” and “Good Time Charlie.” The new song’s accompanying visual is an homage to (read: virtual shot-for-shot remake of) Nine Inch Nails’ “March of the Pigs” video.
