Toronto rock band PUP released their third album, Morbid Stuff, last spring. Thursday, they released the live music video for the title track, “Morbid Stuff,” with an interesting gimmick: The entire video was shot by 19 fans who were distributed inexpensive digital cameras before a PUP show.
Shot at the Electric Ballroom in London, the video begins with PUP revealing the fans who they’ve given cameras to, then captures the band’s energetic performance, as well as the crowd’s frantic dancing, fervent sing-alongs and attempts at crowd surfing.
PUP have been touring constantly since Morbid Stuff’s release, and it appears that they’re going to keep going—they’ll be touring from February through May, including stints at Coachella, Boston Calling and Governor’s Ball.
