Listen to Red Hearse’s R&B-Influenced New Track “Everybody Wants You”

Red Hearse’s Jack Antonoff, Sam Dew and Sounwave have been cranking out jams since their inception just a few weeks ago. Continuing that trend, the trio have released their latest track, “Everybody Wants You.”

Based in more of a classic R&B sound than the trio’s previous electronic-R&B-meets-pop stylings, “Everybody Wants You” features Dew singing about a complicated relationship over minimalist instrumentals. With heartfelt lyrics at the forefront, the production of the song evokes the R&B sounds of Miguel or even the early days of Justin Timberlake.

“Hey baby / Seems like every time I’m close, you turn away / Seems like all of a sudden everybody is on you,” Dew sings in the song’s first verse.

The song is Red Hearse’s fourth track released from their forthcoming, self-titled debut album. Red Hearse is due out Aug. 16 via RCA Records, and the entire album was written and produced by the trio, as well.

Other than “Everybody Wants You,” Red Hearse released the album’s title track, “Honey” and “Half Love.” Recently, the trio made their TV debut and performed “Half Love” on The Tonight Show.
