Pioneering pop singer-songwriter Regina Spektor is set for a Broadway residency, and what better way to celebrate than a performance on late night television?
The singer took to Late Night with Seth Meyers to perform “Loveology,” a song that’s never been properly released with a studio version. The track is rarely performed by Spektor, making this a special performance for her fans.
With Spektor at a grand piano and a trio of strings supplementing her playing and vocals, the performance of “Loveology” is mesmerizing. Spektor is known for her intricate lyricism, and the track is no different. At just over four minutes, the track is a piano ballad for the masses and it gives a bit of insight into what audiences can expect at her Broadway shows.
The Russian singer is set for a five-night run at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre, spanning between Thursday, June 20 and Wednesday, June 26.
