Indie-pop crooners The Walters have returned with a new single, the jaunty “Stuck In My Ways.” The track, the band’s first this year, is a cheeky admittance of bad behavior; it “was inspired by repeating the same actions in your day to day life that get you in trouble with your partner,” the band explains. Don’t fret, though: The song is still sunny and winsome, further proof of the boyishly charming pathos which has carried the band to viral success over the past five years.

“Stuck In My Ways” arrives with an accompanying video that taps into a ’90s video-game style, as the foursome face off against adverse figures in their lives like exes and landlords. Amidst baseball-diamond dance-offs and 1-v-1’s that manage to induce giggles even between their participants, the band’s endearing, carefully-perfected puerility emerges stronger than ever.
