Sub Pop, Adult Swim Releasing Rick and Morty Soundtrack as Double Album in September

The Rick and Morty soundtrack is getting a double album release, Sub Pop has announced. Out Sept. 28 via Sub Pop and Adult Swim, the album encompasses a whopping 26 tracks, two of which—”Rick and Morty Theme” and “Goodbye Moonmen”—you can listen to now, below.
The album features music by Rick and Morty composer Ryan Elder, as well as songs by Chaos Chaos, Blonde Redhead, Mazzy Star and Belly. Another two songs created by Chad VanGaalen and Clipping are brand new tracks inspired by the show. On Sept. 28, it will become available as a CD, a vinyl double LP and a full digital album—you can preorder the soundtrack on iTunes now. On Nov. 28, another two editions of the soundtrack will arrive: a cassette, and a double LP on colored vinyl, enclosed in a box with LED lights. So if you’re hoping to get your copy of The Rick and Morty Soundtrack tricked out with some wild accoutrements, definitely wait until November to make your purchase.
