Rihanna Shuts Down Pokémon GO Players at Her Concerts

Since its U.S. release in early July, Pokémon GO has seemingly taken over our conversations, lives and smartphone screens. The good thing is, Rihanna is having none of it. At her concert at the Grande Stade in Lille, France over the weekend, the pop star explicitly told her audience that she will not be putting up with this latest craze.
“I don’t want to see you texting your boyfriends or your girlfriends. I don’t want to see you catching any Pokemons up in this bitch,” she said. While it might be appropriate to look for the creatures just about anywhere else (with some definite exceptions), RiRi has put us all on notice that her show is certainly not the place to do it.
