Join Rolling Blackouts C.F. on Tour in Their “Time In Common” Video
Images via Maclay Heriot, Sub PopGoing on tour can be a really trying experience. On the one hand, you’re travelling with your friends, doing what you love. But on the other, you’re away from home for long stints of time and it’s exhausting. Australian quintet Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have shared a look into the dichotomy of tour life with a new video for their song “Time In Common.”
In the black-and-white video, which you can watch below, we see the band pack their things into a van and embark on a journey through venues and recording studios. “It captures the band on the move, a group of friends rolling up their sleeves, touring the world and putting in the work,” as a press release describes. There’s no shortage of fun along the way as they throw around a football, hang out by the ocean and just generally goof around.
The lads are kicking off another slew of tour dates in support of their debut album Hope Downs—released in June via Sub Pop—on July 22, which will see them traveling through cities in North America, Europe and their home country of Australia.
Last year we named the band The Best of What’s Next. You can read our review of Hope Downs here and watch the new music video below.
