Run the Jewels Premiere New Song “Mean Demeanor” in FIFA ’18 Commercial

It’s no secret that Killer Mike and El-P are into videogames. When Gears of War 4 came out last year, they appeared as multiplayer characters, and also premiered “Panther Like A Panther,” a track from Run the Jewels 3, in a trailer for the game. This year, they’re using their talents to promote another game, EA Sports’ FIFA ‘18, which comes out tomorrow, Sept. 29.

The duo debuted an exclusive new song titled “Mean Demeanor” in the commercial for FIFA ‘18, also making a short appearance in the ad. We don’t know either of the rappers to be very avid soccer players, so it doesn’t seem likely that they’ll reprise their roles as playable videogame characters for this one. However, players will be able to outfit their athletes in RTJ kits.

Run the Jewels are among good company on FIFA ‘18’s soundtrack. Artists included are alt-J, The War on Drugs, The National and Portugal. The Man, along with many others.
