Call Ticketron: Grammy-nominated hip-hop duo Run the Jewels are heading out on a world tour with reunited rap-rock revolutionaries Rage Against the Machine.
Word of Killer Mike and El-P’s slot supporting Zack de la Rocha, Tom Morello and company comes as the countdown to Run the Jewels 4 keeps dwindling—El-P recently promised a fan that the album will drop before their Coachella set in April, bringing our long national nightmare to an end.
RTJ4 is coming this spring, a press release now confirms, with an exact street date announcement “coming soon.” RTJ primarily recorded their new album at Rick Rubin’s Shangri-La Studios in Malibu, Calif., and the iconic Electric Lady Studios in NYC.
Beginning their run together in El Paso, Texas, on March 26, RTJ and RATM will share dozens of stages in 2020, including high-profile sets at festivals like Coachella, Boston Calling, Firefly, Leeds Festival and Reading Festival. Tickets for their joint tour go on sale this Thursday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. local time.
