Ryan Adams Announces North American Summer Tour

After an extensive build-up, today marks the day that Ryan Adams releases his 16th (!) album, Prisoner.

Last night, to celebrate the new record, Adams performed with his band at the historic Apollo Theater in New York, and tomorrow they’ll be playing a much more intimate set at the 250-capacity Rough Trade in Brooklyn, but to coincide with the release, Adams has announced a more extensive North American tour, starting in New York on May 3, along with a run in Ireland and the U.K. Two U.S. shows will feature support from Jenny Lewis, whose album Adams is currently producing. Hopefully that means we can look for that record in the next couple of months!
