(Sandy) Alex G Shares Whimsical New Track, “Near”

(Sandy) Alex G has shared his fourth new track from his upcoming ninth album, House of Sugar the psychedelic, whimsical creation, “Near.”
“All I want is to be near you,” Alex G repeatedly sings on the 2-minute-long track amid frenzied, glitching backing instrumentals, “No looking, no touching.”
“Near” is the fourth new offering this year from Alex G, a.k.a. Philly-based multi-instrumentalist Alex Giannascoli. He previously released “Southern Sky” on Tuesday, “Hope” in July and “Gretel” in June. They will all appear on his ninth studio album, House of Sugar out Sept. 13 via Domino Records.
He will tour the globe in support of House of Sugar, beginning in Washington D.C. at Black Cat on Oct. 13 and concluding in The Netherlands at Vera on March 6, 2020.
