Fueling country music with female-empowering bops since the ’90s, Shania Twain is headed to Las Vegas for a residency at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, per Rolling Stone.
The “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!” singer has been touring relentlessly over the past few years in support of her 2017 album Now. After over 20 years in the business, the songstress is leading her residency, dubbed Shania Twain “Let’s Go!” The Vegas Residency, which will appear at Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood.
Twain will serve as creative director for the residency, which is set to blend her different eras of work, from her mega-superstar days of the ’90s to her comeback in 2017. The residency also marks the second time Twain has taken the stage in Vegas. Channeling the music that made her name, the singer took to Vegas in 2014 for her Shania: Still The One residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, which ran for two years.
Let’s Go! is set to run between December 2019 and June 2020, with multiple dates in March and May. Along with tickets going on sale Friday, $1 from each ticket purchase will go toward Twain’s benefit Shania Kids Can, which benefits children in times of crisis.
