Soft Cell Share “Northern Lights,” Their First New Song Since 2002

Soft Cell, the U.K. synth-pop duo behind hits like “Tainted Love” and “Say Hello, Wave Goodbye,” released their first new song in 15 years on Wednesday, “Northern Lights”.

The song is off their forthcoming compilation The Singles – Keychains & Snowstorms, out Sept. 28 via Universal Music Catalogue. The Singles is a companion to an expanded box set, . The box set will include nine CDs and a DVD featuring four hours of footage.

Marc Almond and Dave Ball will be playing a farewell reunion concert at London’s O2 on Sept. 30 for the band’s 40th anniversary. Tickets are available via the Soft Cell website.
