Spotify Launches New Original Video Series Flash Frame, Partners with Blink-182 for First Episode

Following through with their announcement to incorporate video as a bigger part of their platform, Spotify has launched a new original series titled Flash Frame.

Episodes of Flash Frame will highlight the biggest moments of various artists’ careers, and in an exceptional twist, even give fans the unique opportunity to participate in the artist’s new music videos. Original content commissioned by the streaming service will be combined with Flash Frame performance footage, resulting in a novel combination video starring the artists and their biggest fans.

The first episode of the series feature Blink-182, to celebrate the recent release of their seventh album, California, detailing the Cali-rockers’ career through five chapters.

Accompanying the episode is a video for the band’s latest single, “She’s Out of Her Mind,” starring actor and comedian Adam DeVine, as a modern take on the iconic visual for “What’s My Age Again?” Flash Frame is only available to Spotify subscribers, but you can watch the Spotify-produced video for “She’s Out of Her Mind” below.
