Thursday morning, Clark released a surprise remix of Maroon 5 (you remember them, right—that band Adam Levine stands in front of?) and the Bronx rapper’s recent collaboration “Girls Like You.”
Clark shared the remix on Twitter, exclaiming that she spent “lots of time dancing alone in [her] studio.”
https://t.co/Mcxz8qTLdj I HAD THE BEST TIME MAKING THIS MAROON 5/CARDI B REMIX. THANKS TO THEM FOR HAVING ME. LOTS OF DILLA SAMPLES MAKING THE BEAT AND LOTS OF DANCING ALONE IN MY STUDIO. MIXED BY MY GIRL LAURA SISK. https://t.co/CkBTkfiulvpic.twitter.com/nxUsPU4dCO

Maroon 5 are embarking on the second leg of their Red Pill Tour this fall, with tickets available here. Cardi B recently canceled her scheduled dual tour with Bruno Mars, citing that she underestimated “the whole mommy thing,” and the time it would take to physically and mentally recover from giving birth.
There’s no need to act too hip—we can all just collectively admit that Clark’s remix is a bop, so listen below. If you missed it, the cameo-packed video for the original collaboration is also below, along with a 2009 St. Vincent show from the Paste archives.
