Steve Lacy Releases “N Side,” His First Solo Song Since 2017

The Internet’s Steve Lacy shared “N Side” on Monday, his first solo music since the 2017 EP Steve Lacy’s Demo. The alternative R&B artist has kept busy as of late releasing music with both The Internet and Vampire Weekend (alongside whom he appeared in a Jonah Hill-directed music video for their single “Sunflower”).

“N Side” reminds us just how entrancing Lacy is on his own, though, sounding as sexy as Kaleidoscope Dream-era Miguel, but with way more chill. Lacy’s honeyed vocals, listless guitar grooves and the double entendre title make “N Side” feel like the soundtrack to a romantic daydream.
