Puppets Perform “‘Cause I’m A Man” in New Tame Impala Video

Tame Impala isn’t half-bad at making music, but it turns out the band also puts on one hell of a puppet show.
The Kevin Parker-led psych-rock group has debuted a hilarious new music video for stand-out single “’Cause I’m A Man.” The “official live video” features a performance of the track by a band of Tame Im-puppets. The clip was co-directed by Dan Dipaola & Megan McShane, and Dipaola pulled double duty, acting also as the puppeteer behind Parker’s onscreen avatar.
“’Cause I’m A Man” is one of four singles from the band’s upcoming album, Currents, due out July 17 on Interscope Records. The track’s new visual comes in addition to its 3-D animated video, which was released last week.
