Tegan and Sara Announce Fall North American Tour Dates

Tegan and Sara announced on Tuesday that they will embark on a North American fall tour in support of their new album and debut memoir, both set for September releases.

The Canadian indie duo announced earlier this month that their forthcoming ninth album, Hey I’m Just Like You, will be released on Sept. 27 via Sire. Their memoir, High School, will arrive on Sept. 24.

Their tour will begin on the night of their memoir release in Brooklyn, New York. Then, they will head across the Pacific Northwest, Canada and the Midwest before playing their last show in Austin, Texas, in November.

Tickets for Tegan and Sara’s tour will go on sale this Friday, July 26, at 10 a.m. local time. For every ticket sold, $1 will be donated to the Tegan and Sara Foundation, which, according to Tegan and Sara’s website, “fights for economic justice, health and representation for LGBTQ+ girls and women.”
