The Avett Brothers Add New Dates to Upcoming Tour

The Avett Brothers have added 16 new summer dates to their upcoming 2019 North American tour.
The folk giants will be tacking on the additional headlining shows to their spring run, which also includes a slew of festival stops and the band’s annual three-day Red Rocks residency in July. Beginning in Bonner Springs, Kan., the trio of brothers will be making the most of the summer nights with stops almost exclusively at outdoor arenas including The Gorge in Seattle, and a two-night stay at The Greek Theatre in Berkeley.
With the release of two new tracks late last year (“Trouble Letting Go” and “Roses and Sacrifice”), the 36-date tour carries the anticipation of new music from The Avett Brothers in 2019.
Tickets for the new dates go on sale to the general public tomorrow, Jan. 25, with previously announced dates selling out. See the full list of tour dates below (newly added shows are bolded), and watch a 2008 Avett Brothers performance from the Paste archives to prepare for their upcoming shows.
