On the heels of last week’s release of their surprise single “Lo/Hi,” the band’s first new music since 2014, The Black Keys have confirmed a 31-date arena tour of North America alongside Modest Mouse. They kick off their Let’s Rock Tour with a headlining slot at the Life Is Beautiful festival in Las Vegas this September, offering us some idea of when we may get a new album from Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney, though the band has made no such announcement.
The rock duo out of Akron, Ohio, will play arenas in dozens of major U.S. cities, including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Nashville, Toronto, Boston, Washington, D.C., Atlanta and Portland. Modest Mouse will support on all dates, with past Keys collaborators Shannon & The Clams, *repeat repeat and Jessy Wilson joining in on select stops. Tickets for the tour go on sale starting next Friday, March 22, at 10 a.m. local time via the band’s website.
