Revisit The Cure’s 40th Anniversary Hyde Park Show in Trailer for Concert Film

Ahead of its July 11 theatrical debut, The Cure’s new Hyde Park concert film’s trailer has arrived.

Celebrating the band’s 40th anniversary as a band, the iconic Hyde Park show took place last summer. Long-time Cure collaborator Tim Pope directed The Cure — Anniversary 1978-2018 Live in Hyde Park London, which captured the career-spanning concert. The film features the 29 hits played in 4K format and 5:1 surround sound that was mixed at Abbey Road.

The trailer shows the generational legacy of the edgy pop band and, with the help of Pope, allows viewers to experience the iconic show via the big screen.
