Amplify Decatur Music Festival Will Feature The Milk Carton Kids And Elephant Revival

Music News The Milk Carton Kids

Here at Paste, we take pride in our Atlanta roots, so it always makes us happy when a festival right in our backyard pulls in a solid lineup. This year’s Amplify Decatur will take place Jun. 18 in Decatur Square, and it features headliners The Milk Carton Kids and Elephant Revival. Alongside the outdoor festival day (which, three offices ago, would literally have been visible from our window), local venue Eddie’s Attic is hosting a three-night stand of music on Jun. 17-19 with participating acts including The Roosevelts, Delta Moon, Dwayne Shivers with Anthony Aparo, and Abbie Gardner and Jesse Terry.

Amplify Decatur is put on by the nonprofit group Amplify My Community, which will use the proceeds from the festival to support Decatur Cooperative Ministry’s efforts to combat homelessness in the area. Tickets are $30 and are available at the festival’s website.
