The National Announce Concert Film, I Am Easy To Find, Live From New York’s Beacon Theatre, Share Trailer

The National announced on Monday that their concert film, The National: I Am Easy To Find, Live From New York’s Beacon Theatre will be released on Friday, Aug. 23 via Amazon.

The film was directed by La Blogotheque, shot from The National’s April 22 performance in the renowned Upper West Side theatre, and features guest appearances from Julien Baker, Kate Stables of This Is the Kit, Mina Tindle and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. The band will also release a digital EP of their live April performance, The National: Live From New York’s Beacon Theatre EP via Amazon Music on Friday. Their performance of “Rylan,” can be streamed now for Amazon Music listeners.

As depicted in the upcoming film, the acclaimed indie rock group previewed their eighth full-length studio album, I Am Easy To Find for the Beacon Theatre crowd. They later released it to the public in May via 4AD. The National previously shared a Mike Mills-directed short film of the same name in May, starring Alicia Vikander.

The National: I Am Easy To Find, Live From New York’s Beacon Theatre will be screened for public audiences on Tuesday in Brooklyn,Los Angeles and Seattle.
