The Shins Might Be Coming To A City Near You
Photo by Annie BlackIndie-rock pioneers The Shins have been on the road since the March release of their newest record, Heartworms, and they show no sign of stopping anytime soon: They’ve been on a co-headlining tour with Spoon, have had a string of summer music festival spots and today just announced an influx of new fall tour dates, including stops in Boston, Brooklyn, Chicago and Atlanta, in support of their fifth album.
With that said, when a band is as widely beloved as The Shins, an extended tour isn’t really surprising. With every new record and tour, how many of us are still excited when they play fan-favorite “New Slang” at a show?
You can check out the band’s full schedule below and read our review of their latest record here.
