Adam Granduciel and company recently shared the immensely pleasurable “Pain,” the fourth single from their forthcoming album A Deeper Understanding. The War on Drugs took to Jimmy Kimmel Live! Wednesday to offer up an enthralling performance of their latest track.
A Deeper Understanding is likely to be a staple of 2017 year-end lists everywhere—the album is among Paste’s most-anticipated releases of the month for a reason. The War on Drugs have already put out an incredible set of advance tracks, including “Holding On,” “Strangest Thing” and “Thinking of a Place,” which we highlighted as one of 2017’s best songs so far.
