Indie rockers The War On Drugs have shared a new music video for their latest single, “Holding On.” The music video stars Frankie Faison (The Wire, Luke Cage) and vocalist Adam Granduciel. The video follows Faison’s character, who eventually meets up with Granduciel to take a sentimental photograph. Directed by Brett Haley, the video is based on a concept by actress Krysten Ritter.
“Holding On” is the second single to be released from The War On Drugs’ forthcoming album A Deeper Understanding, which is due out on Aug. 25 via Atlantic.
