The xx Release Idyllic Video for Single “On Hold,” from Forthcoming Album I See You

The xx finally have a new album on the way, and following the release of its first single “On Hold” a couple of weeks ago, the band has released a music video to accompany it.
Telling a story of teen romance, the video was directed by Alasdair McLellan and filmed in Marfa, Texas, where the band has spent some time recording their forthcoming album.
The group said of the video:
We have a lot of love and respect for the people of the USA, having played hundreds of shows across the country over the past years. We hope this video reflects just some of the warmth and acceptance we have encountered there.
