Laetitia Tamko, better known as Vagabon, has unleashed another single from her forthcoming LP Sorry I Haven’t Called, out September 15th via Nonesuch Records. Vagabon’s latest musical pivot has seen her explore the electronic side of indie-pop, delving into infectious dance floor music with an expert’s touch. “Do Your Worst” is no exception; the pulsating, rhythmic electropop track, Vagabon indicts an ill-intentioned lover for the effect they’ve had on her mental health. Tamko wrote the track “nestled in the German country side,” accompanied by her trusty producer Rostam and his familiarity with Euro-club beats. The track is dark and propulsive, the soundtrack to a sketchy dance party or a bathroom hookup. It’s hypnotic and sexy and an exciting signpost for what’s to come.
