Ezra Koenig and His Merry Band Take a Road Trip in Vampire Weekend’s “This Is Life” Video

Southern California never looked so inviting as in the new, black-and-white clip for Vampire Weekend’s “This Life.” The Emmett Malloy-helmed video features a who’s-who lineup including Danielle Haim—who also provides backing vocals on the song—Kyle Field of Little Wings, Mark Ronson, Ariel Rechtshaid, Jovan Hill, Simi & Haze, Mark Ronson, Despot and Sophie.
“This Life” is the latest video from Vampire Weekend’s comeback album, Father of the Bride, the band’s first since 2013’s Modern Vampires of the City. The 18-track collection features contributions from Danielle Haim, Jake Longstreth and Steve Lacy, and writing and production from Rechtshaid, BloodPop and DJ Dahi.
Vampire Weekend are currently on a North American tour scheduled to last through October, with international dates rounding out the year.
