Watch Vampire Weekend Perform with Haim on The Tonight Show

Vampire Weekend appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon Tuesday night to perform two tracks from their new album Father of the Bride, which came out in full on Friday. Danielle Haim joined the band for a performance of the album’s closer “Jerusalem, New York, Berlin,” and the rest of Haim came onstage to help with “This Life.”

The Tonight Show appearance marks Vampire Weekend’s first performance on late-night television since 2014. Danielle Haim contributed vocals to several songs on the album, including “Hold You Now,” “Married in a Gold Rush” and “We Belong Together,” and has joined the band onstage on multiple occasions.

The sprawling, 18-track Father of the Bride is the band’s fourth studio album, following Modern Vampires of the City in 2013. In addition to Danielle Haim, the album also features contributions from Steve Lacy, Ludwig Göransson, Hans Zimmer, iLoveMakonnen, Mark Ronson and former member Rostam Batmanglij. Frontman Ezra Koenig produced the album with Ariel Rechtshaid, whose past work includes collaborations with Madonna, Adele, U2, Solange Knowles and Haim. Rechtshaid also worked as a producer on Modern Vampires of the City.

Vampire Weekend are going on tour behind their new album starting in June. Watch the band’s performances on The Tonight Show, revisit their 2007 Daytrotter Session and check out their full list of tour dates below.
