Waxahatchee Releases New Song “Mud”

The band will be taking the Grammy-nominated Tigers Blood out on the road for more US shows.

Waxahatchee Releases New Song “Mud”

If 2024 was a major year for Katie Crutchfield, then 2025 is setting up to be just as fruitful. Coming off of her Grammy-nominated, career-best outing Tigers Blood, Waxahatchee is still firing on all cylinders. Following the release of her one-off single “Much Ado About Nothing,” which we named the 7th-best song of 2024, last fall, the band is back with “Mud,” an equally good and intoxicating track from the Tigers Blood sessions.

The single marks the announcement of the next leg in Waxahatchee’s acclaimed tour, as she’ll zig-zag across the United States with acts like Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Lucinda Williams, Cameron Winter, Kevin Morby, Merce Lemon, Lord Huron and more. She’s also set to play at Willie nelson’s Luck Ranch on March 14, as well as Outlaw Fest in September.

Check out those tour dates, along with “Mud,” below.
