Weezer Release Surprise New Single/Video “Feels Like Summer,” Announce Tour Dates

Weezer, the band you might love to hate (but once actually loved), are still alive and kicking with their new single and music video “Feels Like Summer.” The track is the first taste of their as-of-yet-untitled forthcoming summer album, their 11th. The song is light and bouncy, with easy to listen to, chunky pop beats—it’s definitely adult alt-rock radio-friendly. You can watch the animated, Greg Yagolnitzer and Brendan Walter-directed music video above, in which the band members repeatedly turn into one another and fall through a hailstorm of their own logo.

Weezer is also about to embark on their first European tour since 2005, along with a few U.S. stops at major festivals.
