“Weird Al” Yankovic-Penned New York Times Crossword Dares You to Get Cheesy

“Weird Al” Yankovic is a man of many talents, always looking to expand his artistic purveyance when the opportunity emerges. He might have topped himself with his most recent endeavor: New York Times crossword puzzle crafter.

The parody prince of polka lent his comedic chops to Wednesday’s edition of the NYT crossword puzzle, delivering a brain teaser themed around cheesy puns—literally. Featuring answers such as “Feta Attraction” and “A Few Gouda Men,” Yankovic’s puzzle, made in association with puzzlemaker Eric Berlin, mixes in plenty of cheese-related wordplay that offers multiple levels of gratification.

The puzzle is available in Wednesday’s edition of the NYT, but those who want to experience some deep-cut John Cleese surname references can grab a printable version here.
