Watch a Rowdy 1-800 Hotline Call Unravel in White Lung’s “Sister” Video
Image via YouTubeCanadian punks White Lung have shared a string of unruly videos since the May release of Paradise, the latest being “Sister.” Directed by Justin Gradin, who also handled the video for White Lung’s “Hungry,” the clip follows a man’s attempt at finding love with two strangers via a 1-800 hotline.
Gradin said of the video in a press release:
In a lonely world a man seeks to find love through his telephone. He discovers two women with whom he becomes obsessed with from their captivating and elegant conversations. In the end, these two women’s thrilling lives and escalating partying leave the man feeling isolated and rejected again. It’s basically a ‘90s chat line commercial on PCP.
White Lung will be touring throughout Canada for the month of October before heading down to Texas for the first-annual Sound on Sound Festival. The band will finish out their tour in 2017 across Australia. Find those dates here and watch the “Sister” video above.
