Nashville-based folk/country songwriter William Tyler has just released a new video for “Man In A Hurry,” one of the tracks off his most recent album Goes West, out now on Merge Records.
The video, made by Tyler’s sister Elise, was debuted ahead of a Reddit “Ask Me Anything,” and features Hand Habits’ Meg Duffy—who played guitar on the album—as well as Cory Juneau of the U.S. Olympic Skateboarding team.
“16mm, Super 8, MiniDV, iPhone … these are the formats we used to film the video for ‘Man in a Hurry,’” Elise Tyler said of the directorial process in a statement. “Each camera represents a different era of ‘point and shoot’ video capture, and together, they weave a curious portrait of how we document our world.”
Tyler’s AMA will take place on r/indieheads Tuesday at 3 p.m. ET. Later this month, Tyler will take his act overseas for his first-ever bout of European shows.
