The men in Yarn remind us of just how often bodies and people crack. They remind us that that sometimes we can do things that make us unwelcome and unwanted. They remind us that sometimes you just have to let all of the ripples ripple out of a lake before getting back into it. They remind us that there’s a whole lot we don’t know and we’re not going to be learning any of it anytime soon. They sing, “Well, at least I know my truth and what more can I do but hope for better days?” and it sounds like the consolation prize of champions.
