Dominic Fike, the hip-hop modernist, Euphoria star and eclectic, critically acclaimed alternative singer/songwriter, has announced his sophomore album: Sunburn. Set in motion by lead single “Dancing In The Courthouse” earlier this year, Fike will release the radical, 14-track Sunburn on July 7 via Columbia Records. To accompany the album announcement, he has unveiled “Ant Pile.”
Sunburn will offer listeners a deeply intimate reflection on growth and self-discovery from an ever-changing artist who is embarking upon a fresh chapter in life. Hailing from Naples, Florida, Fike revisits his roots and examines the distinct culture he was raised within. He narrates an internal battle involving sensuality, dependency, heartbreak and dread. Providing a sturdy declaration towards life, the lyrics on Sunburn push back towards hardship with an unwavering acceptance.
