Simone Biles’ Autobiography Coming This Fall

Simone Biles isn’t done with America yet. Biles, who was arguably one of the biggest stories at the 2016 Rio Olympics, will write a book to be published this fall. In the book, titled Courage to Soar, Biles will tell her life story.

Biles has teamed with Christian book publisher Zondervan for the book’s release. The record-breaking gymnast penned her autobiography alongside Michelle Buford, who helped with the writing of Biles’ teammate Gabby Douglas’ autobiography, Grace, Gold, & Glory.

In talking about the book on Ellen, Biles explained that it’s about “my life story and it’s coming from me so that people don’t read something on the internet and they’re a little bit unsure of it. So it’s about my life, a little bit about my family, and then how I got to where I am.”

Biles was an overnight sensation during the Rio Olympics. She become the first woman to win three consecutive all-around golds at the World Gymnastics Championships, and she followed this achievement with a mesmerizing performance in Rio. Biles took home four gold medals during these Olympics, as well as one bronze.

Courage to Soar goes on sale Nov. 15. Until then, check out Biles jaw-drop-inducing floor routine below.
