New Poll: If the Next Election Were Held Today, Bernie Would Crush

According to a new poll by Public Polling Policy—who admits to leaning Democratic, but refuses to claim that as a bias the 2020 election were held today—and Bernie Sanders was the Democratic nominee—he’d basically wipe the polling booth with Trump.

The people over at PPP believe Trump’s myriad scandals have really dragged his popularity down. Also not helping is the floundering Senate healthcare bill.

Maybe these results shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise for anybody who has turned on the news recently, but the Democrats have seemed hellbent on continuing to lose and failing to capitalize on Trump’s unpopularity. Throw a true progressive like Bernie in there and see what happens.
