VIDEO: The Father of the Terrorist Attack Victim in Charlottesville Said That He Forgives Her Killer
America seems to be at a crossroads right now. The forces of evil that have forever flowed throughout our history are as emboldened as they have been in nearly a century, and the terrorism in Charlottesville is forcing us to address our collective demons. Further complicating this situation, there is a dearth of leadership in our national offices, which was embodied in the delayed (at best) response of our president to forcefully condemn empirical evil.
The good news is that while we are short on national leaders, there are a litany of local heroes like the late Heather Heyer, and her father Mark. Take note Mr. Trump, this is what a president sounds like.

Times are dark right now, but if a man who lost a daughter can be that eloquent and forgiving in the immediate aftermath of her murder at the hands of neo-Nazi terrorists, then there’s still hope for the rest of us to resolve the issues that this country has been wrestling with since its inception.
