TV Hosts Asks Michael Wolff About Allegations of Trump Affair, Wolff Suddenly Goes Deaf, Flees
Screencap via TwitterThis is hilarious, and needs very little set-up. Just know that Michael Wolff, author of the true-ish book Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump House, made a claim about a month ago that Trump was having an affair in the White House behind Melania’s back. He was “absolutely sure,” until he walked it back a week ago and said he wasn’t sure. Here’s what happened today when Australian morning show host Ben Fordham pressed him on the claim, and asked if he owed Trump an apology:

As you see from the tweet, Fordham’s claim is that Wolff could hear him loud and clear. That certainly seems to be backed up by the fact that when Fordham said, “you can’t hear me?” Wolff briefly began to respond with “no,” seemingly undermining his own claim. He caught himself, but too late.
This is hilarious. Watch Michael Wolff begin to answer “no” to a caller whose question he claimed he couldn’t hear, then stop himself. https://t.co/lPE8EFw7If

There’s also the fact that instead of staying and waiting for the audio to be fixed, Wolff flees the interview. He and Trump seem to be neck and neck on the personal integrity front, and that’s not a good thing.
