Watch: Joe Biden Responds to Allegations of Improper Touching With Short Video
Photo courtesy of GettyLucy Flores wrote an essay at The Cut last Friday detailing how an awkward kiss from Joe Biden made her uncomfortable and changed the way she looked at him. That sparked a national conversation on Biden’s history of touching women (and some men) in ways that were deemed inappropriate, and more stories emerged from women who felt similarly—as well as vigorous defenses from women like Mika Brzezinski and Alyssa Milano, among others.
On Wednesday, Biden responded with a video posted to twitter in which he vowed to respect the personal space of women, but also defended his intentions, saying that it was in his nature to make politics personal, and that included touching.
