KellyAnne Conway Has Some Misconceptions About Inspector Gadget
Photo courtesy of GettyRecently, KellyAnne Conway has managed to embarrass herself with some frequency on national television. This is not a new development, necessarily, but trust us, she has somehow outdone herself this week. You probably heard about her claim that microwaves can turn into cameras, and if you’re really lucky, you bore witness to a classic Conwayism, which came in the midst of defending herself and Trump: “I’m not in the job of having evidence.”
But we want to focus on something you may not have heard. Credit goes to Buzzfeed’s Hayes Brown for picking up on a truly disturbing—and truly sad—sentence that came out of Conway’s mouth on CNN:
Overlooked in all of this: KellyAnne Conway seems to think Inspector Gadget was an inspector of gadgets, not a gadget-filled inspector pic.twitter.com/dlsuKm3Kd0
— Hayes Brown (@HayesBrown) March 14, 2017
The text, for those who can’t read Brown’s tweet:
“I’m not Inspector Gadget. I don’t believe people are using the microwave to spy on the Trump campaign.”
This, of course, is complete heresy. Inspector Gadget was embedded with gadgets. He had a gadget for every situation. He investigated the crimes of Dr. Claw. He did not fucking inspect gadgets. What kind of stupid show would that have been? “Uhhh, I’m Inspector Gadget, and I’m here to look at your Gameboy.”
DUMB! SAD!
Based on this error, Paste officially calls for KellyAnne Conway to be fired.
