Anthony Scaramucci’s New Outlet Posted A Completely Insane Poll About the Holocaust
Photo by Chip Somodevilla/GettyThis is not cool.
This poll was put up by @lancelaifer without consulting @Scaramucci who is traveling in London.
The poll has been taken down. pic.twitter.com/SKaaPZAPow— ScaramucciPost (@ScaramucciPost) October 17, 2017
If you’re giving someone a multiple-choice question as to how many Jews died in the Holocaust and you’re not a teacher, then you’re a terrible person. There’s no other way around it. You’re not being subversive or helping to spread knowledge—this is a complete and total wink towards those subhumans who don’t believe that the Holocaust happened, as evidenced by “less than one million” getting the second-most responses in this poll. If there was any doubt that’s what this poll was getting at, the previous three tweets all ask for “Thoughts?” about the Anne Frank Halloween costume.
Anthony Scaramucci has apparently promised that at least one head will roll over this fuck-up.
2/2 and “he’s going to take immediate disciplinary action. At least one person is getting fired.”

Founder of Laifer Capital Management, Lance Laifer was behind the post, and like all half-assed apologies, he made himself look even worse. The implication here is that Laifer is not offended by the post.
This is @lancelaifer and I apologize if anyone was offended by the Holocaust poll.

Civilized society is united in their “Thoughts” on this issue. The Holocaust happened because we have the bodies, graves and infrastructure to prove it, and dressing as a refugee of a genocide for Halloween is the literal definition of being an insensitive prick. There is no debate to be had here, except for hucksters and charlatans who do things like what Lance Laifer did today. These morally-challenged people want to make a quick buck off of legitimizing the most passionately depraved elements of humanity, and don’t care about the consequences of their actions. If America is going down a road where the Holocaust is up for interpretation, then we have ceased to become the country we claim to be.
