Times are good for Turkish club Be?ikta?. The team is on top of the Turkish Super Lig table for the first time in years. A new, state-of-the-art stadium is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2014-2015 season. Oh, and Demba Ba is scoring goals like this:
On Sunday night, Be?ikta? played host to league rivals Trabzonspor, and things continued to go the Istanbul-based club’s way. A 3-0 victory saw Demba Ba register a crafty reverse-instep shot that brilliantly slid past the onrushing goalkeeper. Notably, Ba then proceeds to celebrate in such emphatic style that the viewer is pretty much forced to believe that he’s finally found a home where he’s both loved and appreciated.
