Though trolling through the racks at Goodwill does have it’s charm—the satisfaction of finding a designer amongst the $2.99 jeans is like no other—there is always going to be a special place in my heart for pre-picked vintage stores. Seattle is home to some of the most well-curated vintage shops on the West Coast. Though LA may be known for the latest styles, Seattle knows a thing or two about well-worn Pendleton, Woolrich and Levis. Take a look at these top shops of the Pacific Northwest and you will be booking your buying trip in a heartbeat.

1. Atlas Clothing

Atlas is a subsidiary of the infamous Fremont Vintage Mall (another great place for vintage treasures). They work on a vendor system—different dealers rent out space to sell their own collections—so the prices and selections vary from space to space. If you do find a vendor you love, ask if they have an online shop, as many of them do, and keep up with their goods even when out of town.

With two locations in Seattle, Lucky Dry Goods is an exceptional source for some serious vintage finds. Expertly curated, you’ll be sure to find the perfect pair of 501’s within minutes. Great for everybody as their size selection is relatively comprehensive.

If kitsch is more your thing, look no further than No Parking On Pike. This eclectic mix of vintage clothing, decor and oddities is your one-stop-shop for all things strange. Come in to find everything from vintage sunglasses to porcelain doll heads to taxidermy bats.

This shop specializes in expertly selected vintage designers. If you want a ‘90s D&G Paisley trench, this is where you are going to find it. When you stop by, take a look at all of their local artists work interspersed throughout the drool-worthy clothing collection.
