James Corden and Neil Patrick Harris Duel with Hamilton Tracks, Other Show Tunes in “Broadway Riff-off”

The Late Late Show host James Corden and A Series of Unfortunate Events star Neil Patrick Harris are two preposterously talented dudes, the ever-rare utility men who can just as capably carry a tune as tell a joke. Last night on The Late Late Show, the two decided to “settle the score” and determine once and for all who the better song and dance man is via “Broadway Riff-off.”

“I see you going around, hosting the Tonys, acting like you’re the only TV star who can sing Broadway show tunes … Some of us, dude, have actually won a Tony,” Harris informed Corden (who in fact has won a Tony, though for a non-singing role). Then it was on like Donkey Kong, and the pair went to battle over the freshest of beats from Hamilton, Les Miserables, Guys and Dolls and Gypsy.

If you’re keeping score at home, Neil Patrick Harris probably bests the Carpool Karaoke creator by just a hair. Watch and judge for yourself above.
