The US Virgin Islands Will Pay You to Visit in 2017

You’re watching snow fall from your windowsill, dreaming of your next getaway, aren’t you? Well, the U.S. Virgin Islands are not only an affordable option; they are also willing to pay you to visit.

What prompted this charitable decision, you ask? In honor of the 100th anniversary of Denmark selling the islands to the U.S., the exotic destination is offering $300 of spending credit to visitors who stay a minimum of three nights in 2017. You can use the credits for various activities on St. Thomas, St. John or St. Croix. To receive the reward, use booking code CP1 or CP17.

Oh, and make sure you stay at one of the U.S. Virgin Islands’ hotels. If you visit in March, you’ll also get a souvenir in honor of the official “Transfer Day.”

Warning: winter is usually the island’s busy season (for obvious reasons), so prices will fall after March. No matter when you go, it’ll be a (warm) trip to remember…one you get paid for.
