Dolly Parton Starts Fund for Tennessee Wildfire Victims

Travel News Dolly Parton

As we all know, tragedy continues to blaze through the Southeast, especially the Great Smoky Mountains National Park.

But our girl Dolly won’t stand for that.

The Tennessee icon announced the My People Fund, which intends to provide $1,000 each month for six months to every family affected by the fires in Sevier county. The fund was established by Dolly herself and her companies. You can donate to the fund through the Dollywood Foundation.

Dollywood opens back up today at 2 p.m., ready to fight the fight and open its doors to those who have been affected.
